ALPENLOFTS – A MAGNIFICENT VIEW

Evelyn and Ike Ikrath wanted to create a place that felt both of the busy, urban world, and completely apart from it. This is how the Alpenlofts came to be. Embedded on a hillside by their hotel, the Haus Hirt, five design-focused chalets are a mix of minimalist aesthetic and homey touches.

Located in the sweet Alpine town of Bad Gastein, famous for its healing thermal waters, towering mountains that beckon with adventure, and world-class accommodations, the Alpenlofts are for couples, families, and free-thinkers who want to have all the comfort of a hotel in a space that feels like home.

The Alpenlofts sit above the Kaiser Wilhelm Promenade, a pedestrian walkway that cuts into the Graukogel, a mountain that is known for hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. The quiet atmosphere is levied by being walkable to multiple restaurants, bars, and shops in gorgeous downtown Bad Gastein.

Food and spa can be found across the way at the Haus Hirt, Evelyn and Ike’s hotel. But with underfloor heating  and, in most lofts, a glass-fronted fireplace, we understand if you want to spend your whole time in your chalet, surrounded by legendary designers like Charles and Ray Eames, Josef Frank, Littala, Löwe, Miele, and Laufen.

We can’t wait to welcome you.
